Intuition By
Mershon Niesner, PCC, CPCC This week two books on intuition literally feel into my lap. One is You Already Know What to Do - 10 invitations to the intuitive life by Sharon Franquemont, and Women's Intuition, unlocking the wisdom of the body by Paula Reeves, PhD. My intuition is telling me to pass on a few thoughts: >> from You Already Know What to Do: When the subtle plane of intuition, which can appear as images or ideas, gets activated, it challenges us to stay in the present, to bring our unconscious projections and wishful thoughts to light, and to recognize what we already know to do. The real stuff is delivered as invitations, not demands. The words "you should" or "you must" are not part of intuition. Rather, intuition is your soul saying, "Please consider." or "Will you.?" Your soul is kind, gentle and patient. It doesn't give up or as Nancy Rosanoff, author of Intuition Workout, says, "Your intuition isn't going away." >> from Women's Intuition: When we neglect what matters most to us that then becomes the matter with us. Unlike our cognitive functions, the body is simply and directly honest, never evasive or obscuring whether the problem is emotional, physical, or relational. Discovering embodied intuition is, as one woman said, "an introduction to the wisest and most loving aspects of my self." >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
